Josh Landry

Josh Landry is a defensive tackle from Houston, Texas. He graduated from Lamar High School in 2018 and was a two-time all-district selection. He was ranked as a four-star recruit by ESPN and was considered the 62nd best player in the state of Texas and the 33rd best defensive tackle nationally by Rivals. He accepted a scholarship to play football at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. At Baylor, he helped lead the team to win the Texas Bowl in 2018 and the Big 12 Championship Game and Sugar Bowl in 2021.

 

He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology Education in May 2022. He later joined the University of Missouri in May 2022 as a graduate transfer. Once he completes his college football career, he hopes to pursue a career in the NFL. In addition to football, Joshua has been actively involved in community outreach through his mother’s non-profit organization, Saving Families Worldwide, and also engaged in community building activities during his college years. Josh is a dedicated player who has demonstrated a strong work ethic and leadership skills both on and off the field.

 

He is dedicated to improving his skills and performance, and has a good understanding of the game, which has helped him to excel as a defensive tackle. He is well-respected by his coaches and teammates for his competitive nature, determination and positive attitude. Josh is also committed to giving back to the community, he has worked with his mother’s non-profit organization, Saving Families Worldwide.

 

Through this organization, he has been able to help underserved populations in Houston, as well as in the communities where he has attended college. This demonstrates his commitment to making a positive impact and being a responsible member of society.
